         School is coming to a close for the spring, and summer is upon us. The recent weather has us itching for festival season…. and it is right around the corner. The long awaited Albino Skunk SpringFest 2.0 starts this Friday in Greer SC. Check the link for ticket info, set times, etc. We owe a big thanks to Zig and the rest of the Skunkteam for giving us the opportunity to close out Friday night’s party! All stops will be pulled for this setlist. Get ready to rumble in the Skunklands. Below is a map of the festival grounds/ camping area. We will see all of you Friday and Saturday….

Shawn and Colin recently lent their talents to our friends Like A Locomotive on their new single “Let It Ride” and will be guest appearing with Like A Locomotive at the 2012 Sweetwater 420 Festival this Saturday, April 21 at 1 PM.  You can check out the track at www.likealocomotive.com.

This weekend, April 14th, 7HC returns to Peachtree Tavern with Connor Christian and Southern Gothic. We’re really excited about playing with CC&SG, and we guarantee it will be a great show. Tickets are available here for $15, and doors open at 9, and we go on at 10pm sharp.

Athens folks, Thank you! We had a great time playing for you at the Georgia Theatre this past Saturday. We will be back soon, so check our events listing and we will keep you updated. Check out the following video for some live performance and backstage footage from Athens.

We are excited to announce our next Atlanta show- Buckhead Theater on March 3rd with Packway Handle Band and Mockingbird Sun. We have 120 advanced tickets left, you can buy them here (There are more tickets available at the door). All ages welcome. This will be one of the most talented bills we’ve shared a stage with. Be prepared to experience three different interpretations of modern bluegrass that will blow you away. Get your tickets early, we will see you in a few weeks.

More exciting news- NPR just did us an in studio interview with Shawn and Colin for “Weekend Edition”! It will air Saturday Feb. 4th between the hours of 8 and 10 AM and next week on “City Cafe” on 90.1 FM. We will also be available online, so check back for that link.
